“Some of the greatest stuff that God will do in your life will not be in your five year plan.”

Thank you Pastor Steven for putting into words something I’ve been trying to articulate for weeks now. Being on staff at Elevation Church was definitely not a part of my plan when I graduated from college, nor when I got married, and after 3 years of living out the dream, making the decision to transition off of staff wasn’t a part of the plan either.

In December 2018, after carrying my biggest blessing for 9 months, I birthed the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me. Now 9 months later, in September 2019, I birthed a new identity of myself. No longer seeking validation from external sources that come as a product of what I can do with my hands, but understanding that my first ministry of being a wife and a mother is the ultimate calling.

In this next season, I am excited to serve my husband, serve my daughter, and serve the vision that God has laid upon my heart as he transitions me to my next. Thank you Pastor Steven and to the staff of Elevation University City for all of the memories, laughs, investments, and time spent together but most of all thank you for being family. ?
